Strategic Sales Executive
Health System/Hospital/Physician Group Sales


Medem's iHealth Service, including the acclaimed iHealthRecord, is in high demand by Health Systems, Hospitals, Physician Groups, employers and other organizations who are looking to strategies and services like iHealth to drive market share, improve operational efficiency, and impact health outcomes through services that directly and meaningfully engage patients and caregivers. Government and industry leaders are calling for Personal Health Record services to improve healthcare and lower overall costs, and are putting financial incentives in place to drive PHR adoption -- which is one of many factors driving iHealth sales.

If you are interested in making a difference in healthcare, working on a winning sales strategy, have solid experience selling strategic services into the "C" suites of health systems and/or large physician groups, and meet the other requirements outlined below, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Your principal responsibility is the sale of iHealth Service, including the iHealthRecord, into health systems, hospitals, and large physician groups. This will involve the following:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the iHealth offering and the value proposition for physician groups and health systems, as well as the particulars of iHealth implementation and marketing.
  • Working together with the CEO and the President, develop a sales strategy that leverages success with similar groups and speaks clearly to the opportunity.
  • Develop a tiered market strategy that identifies short, mid and long range sales prospects, and prioritize these based on market factors and internal sales strategies.
  • Weekly sales reporting.
  • Orchestrate successful client hand-offs to the implementation team.
  • Provide regular feedback on service features, sales strategies, etc., that will help Medem refine its offering and approach to the marketplace.
Professional Requirements:

This position requires at least 5 years successful sales experience selling into physician groups/hospitals, together with:
  • This position requires at least 7-10 years healthcare sales experience with a focus on strategic/"C" suite sales into health systems, hospitals, and large physician groups.
  • Excellent presentation skills, supported by strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Existing relationships at the senior levels of health systems, hospitals, large physician group practices, etc.
  • Self motivated, self supporting and a quick study.
  • 50% travel required.
