Senior System Integration Specialist

We are currently searching for Sr. System Integration Specialist to join our team in downtown San Francisco. The successful candidate will work with other members of the team to code enhancements and develop new components for Medem's core applications and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive system integration efforts to provide seamless connectivity between Medem products and 3rd party software products.
- Perform requirements gathering, data mapping, and technical design as well as participation in development and QA activities for integration components of Medem applications using JEE technologies.
- Hold overall responsibility for technical integrity of the deliverables and on time and on budget projects delivery.
- Participation in technical due diligence and buy versus build analysis for new technologies, products and tools related to system integration.
- Coordination of joint activities that involve third party development teams such as JAD sessions, data mapping sessions, integrations tests and UATs.
- Experience in building high quality object-oriented products using JEE technologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development of products in system integration space.
- Good knowledge of web services including WS-* based system integration.
- Strong command of UML and best practices of software design including usage of tools such as Rational, ERWin, etc.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
- Strong command of enterprise integration SDLC and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Great customer facing skills; very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in implementations using EAI tools from top-tier vendors such as IBM, TIBCO, SeeBeyond, Vitria, etc.
- Knowledge and experience of work in Application Server Provider (ASP) environment is a plus.
- Background in enterprise integration projects working with large system integrators such as Accenture, D&T, BearingPoint, etc.
- Certifications from Sun, Oracle, EAI vendors are a great plus.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry is a great plus.
- Passion for technology and track record of continuing education.
- Detail oriented, methodical, process-oriented with proven ability to instill processes in start up environment.
- Team player with get-it-done attitude who strives for perfection and performs well under pressure.
